How French Universities are able to Attract International Students?

What are the entry requirements?

When individuals apply for a higher education institution, they must present their A levels or undergraduate degree.  Entry requirement does vary for each university. For French speaking courses, the individuals are required to take the TCF (Test de Connaissance de Francais ). This is organized by the French Ministries for National Education and Higher Education and Research and is designed to test their French language capabilities. There are about 700 postgraduate programmes in France and they are taught in English. Generally speaking, the candidates for these particular courses they are not required to speak French.

As an EU citizen, the individuals are permitted to live in any EU nation while studying as long as
  • They are studying for more 3 months
  • They are enrolled at an approved university or other educational institution
  • Should have sufficient funds to live without need of income support
  • Should have comprehensive health insurance cover
